Fountain In Autumn



Fountain off my back deck, in early November. The flowers surrounding the fountain were killed by the frost. Oil on 5x7 canvas, completed 11/13/2006.

Sunbather



I was working on another painting when the outside temperature was about 50 degrees. My husband looked on the screen outside the door where I was working, and this praying mantis was sitting on the screen enjoying the afternoon sun and watching me paint. Oil on 5x7 canvas, completed 11/12/2006.

Mirror Image

Grandpa's Brace And Bit

Grandpa's Hand Saw

Early Auto Horn



An old brass automobile horn. The bracket for attaching it to the automobile is on the back, but that side wasn't as interesting as this side. Oil on 5x7 canvas, completed on October 27, 2006.

Grandpa's Level



Grandpa's level, passed on to my father and now to me. It is an old Stanley, and the horizontal glass vial still has liquid in it. The wood is stained from wood and coal smoke from my childhood. Painted in oil on a 5x7 canvas as my Painting A Day on October 27, 2006.

Hydrangea



A hydrangea from my bush. The foilage was really lush this year, even though we didn't have much rain. Photographed when in bloom, and painted in oil on a 5x7 canvas on 10/26/2006.

Bridal Bouquet



Roses in my daughter's bridal bouquet. She said, "You have to sell me that painting. Nobody else can have my bridal bouquet!" So this one is sold. Oil on canvas, 5x7, completed 10/25/2006.

Good Fishing Creek
